... we first got in the tram there were some grumbles that the seats were facing uphill and were not reversible (like in the trams at Blackpool!) but as soon as the tram began it’s very steep decent it began obvious why the seats did not face downhill. We continued down the windy path that eventually led us to civilization after almost an hour of peace and quiet. It was almost like the movie "The Beach". We were heading back into the busy nightlife of Hong Kong.

With cars speeding by, music thumping from the local bars all set to the artificial light cast from the skyscrapers, we were reluctantly reminded that our adventure was over. ...
