... going to Krabi) only to find out it's closed sundays and mondays. Had i seen the other two, i'd have stayed an extra day to see this one. As i've not seen the others, it'll be a new mission for my next visit to Thailand, to see all 3.

So, as with Chumphon, there was a lot i didn't see in the form of "out of town attractions" but with events as they are, this can't be helped, and as i said before, it's always nice to have an excuse to ...

My family and I were driving in the car and I saw a woman hosing down some of the stray dogs, washing them. People are so nice here, they have good hearts. Quite sweet really.] We decided (maybe a bit too late) to get a taxi back ...

Hotels seemed a bit few and far between, so we opted for a very cheap (only 180 Baht, or 3 pounds, per night!!!) hotel in the centre which seemed nice enough, although there were a suprising amount of young ladies hanging around in the foyer later on in the evening...luckily this time Danny was not ...

... your "happy birthday" as they say, you take friends out to dinner and drinks and pay (I was happy to anyway, but it was just different). I got many nice gifts from people I didn't expect to and had a very nice dinner where I did not understand 95% of the conversation. I had "happy birthday" sang to me around 5 times and danced and partied the night away until 6:30 the next morning. My alarm for 7:30am did not go over well but I had to man-up and drag myself ...
