Thanksgiving

I want to wish everyone a happy thanksgiving.
I had a great thanksgiving week. I want to thank some of you who have already donated. Thank You.

My grandparents came and brought me money from some of my sponsors. I had to make sure I sent out thank you e-mails. My dad had to send in more money to People to People so I could get a confirmed spot in the program.

I will have soap for sale soon, and details of my other fundraisers.

belonging with an OS, but I suppose that's the whole point. A
successfully created virtual environment is one you can feel connected
to. I felt disconnected and missed what I knew.

Finally fed up with the floundering state I was in digitally, I secured a copy of the latest and relatively stable version of Windows Ultimate. Of course I didn't know I couldn't just burn an ISO to a dvd and boot right from it without moving ...

Going Away Party

My friend Bev threw an amazing going away party for me. We all got together at her house and had bloody marys, burgers, and beers. Derek came in town and brought his special lady friend, so I got to meet Kelly. Omar came in from San Antonio. Layla and Dave came up. Janello was there. My friend Moni had met me for lunch a ...

So we decided (the penny pinchers that we are) that we would mail our passports and applications to his sister (since we're in Austin for finals) and she could take it, pick it up, and mail them back to us. It would save us the ...

At this time of ...

It is a polyglot group, English and Spanish in equal portions, and a smattering of Asian and other European tongues sliding between these. The people have turned out to see Austin's bat population take to the air. Beneath the bridge hundreds of thousands of tiny bats are crammed into humid little crannies, waiting for the sky to darken. Bat colonnies have been fostered in town for ...
