... at all the entertainment, stopping at and hopped on Niagara Sky Wheel in the middle of Clifton Hill, Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada, with views of all the falls plus township. Continued down to see the Falls all lit up with coloured lights firstly viewing the American side and then down to Canadian side - as evening getting on it became very misty. Walked back to our Hotel getting back about 12 midnight.

... apologies were announced, so we were about an hour late getting in to Niagara.
Our room looked out over the American Falls! - everyone says that the Canadian Falls are best, we love them all. Walked along beside the river. looking at the American Falls, then further to the Canadian Falls - about half an hour. As we got closer, we could feel the mist, and when we got beside, it was like rain, quite wet.

... Canal which goes from Lake Ontario through to Lake Erie.

As the rain eased we though we might go to Niagara-on-the-Lake stopped at the Information Centre for brochures bought a Adventure Pass to four attractions Journey beyond the Falls, Niagara Fury short movie, Maid of the Mist and Whit Water Walk. While there took some money out of the ATM as where we are going to stay (Pat's Country Home) she wants cash.

... bathroom. I was to discover that the bath drained so slowly that I was calf deep in water by the time I'd finished a shower! I'd asked for a kettle, which had been provided, but had to ask for a spoon, and go and buy a cheap mug, milk and teabags at a service station nearby. Strangely enough, they did provide a fridge in the room. That cup of hot tea tasted even better because of the trouble I had to go to to make it. It wasn't long before I slept like a log. The ...

Including a $500 drop off fee for Buffalo, New York...
And the rental car was not allowed to be taken into Canada
- that is why I picked Buffalo, New York as the drop off point....
