... the first stop, the famous floral clock, allegedly the most photographed place in the Niagara district. It was big, it was nice, but really? We were too busy pondering whether to buy ice cream or not to hear the clock chime the hour (if it really did)

... farm for Thanksgiving dinner which was an honour. Finally was time to meet the third member of the family their beautiful dog monty. This energetic well trained and happy dog. Time for the sightseeing to start with a short drive to the falls. As we approached I was blown away with the scene. We'd planned on getting the Hornblower Cruise (formerly Maid of the Mist) that takes you right up to the falls, as soon as we got there to give us enough time to find a pub for the football later. We queued up, bought our tickets and before we knew it, we were being given our bright red poncho's as a bit of protection from the mist.
