... the Bridal Veil Falls and the awesome Horseshoe Falls. It is a splendid sight. Its scale and impressiveness is heightened as you get nearer. Even though a shroud of vapour envelopes much of the main Horseshoe Falls, the visual and auditory impact is significant.

I walked down the path to the top of the horseshoe falls. I took some pictures and then walked around the visitors center. I got some lunch and headed back to the coach meeting point. ... Got across the border no problems and went to find our hotel that we'd booked that morning. When we got there, the guy at the desk informs us we are at the wrong place and we're meant to be on the US side! Which was not the case, we booked on the Canadian side, but at least they let us cancel with no fees.

So we found somewhere else to stay (which was better anyway). Had a bit of a rest then walked down into town for dinner. I've been waiting so long to go to Margaritaville ...
