      ... his help. Afterwards he would invite them into his home for tea and a chat. Years later, many returned to thank him for his efforts in talking them down. Don passed away in 2012, and there is a lovely memorial to him in the park. Unfortunately, by the number of signs and hotline postings, it appears that people are still going there for that purpose and sadly there is no angel there to help any longer.       A great holiday comes to an end......and we're at Kipling's Garage Bar, Turramurra to reflect on all of the "highs!" as well as some of the "magic moments" and a few of the "bloopers" (of which there were very few, if any!)


      So, what were the top 10 highlights?

      Yes - today is the day we have been planning for ages, in fact - for yonks!! England will be a "foreign" country for Jan we are sure. And Jan is already dreading saying goodbye to Socks and Stripes.... will miss them, oh so much.

      And finally, just look what we left for the empty fridge!
