... Resort in Sedona look dated (well, they did have a phone in the toilet room, sooo yesterday's news). Not to focus on bathrooms, but ours has a TV built into the magnificent tile wall so you can watch while soaking in the enormous tub on your soft tufted pillow with the suction cup. The remote control is waterproof so you can even change channels from the adjoining glassed in rainfall shower.

... sound stage after sound stage. We arrive and are directed around to the side of the building where we wait in yet another line up. "Quiet please, everyone, there is filming down the street." The buzz softens as folks are getting excited to enter the Mike & Molly sound stage. This building is, in fact, the same one in which Friends was filmed for so long. It is the only sound stage that has a separate plaque highlighting this history.

... was beautiful and the display of aircraft was awesome! It was hard to believe that when I walked the entire length of the deck that it was all 3 inch armoured steel plate and not concrete! After we had finished with the tour we headed north to Los Angeles and tried to find somewhere reasonably priced, safe and nice enough to stay! The traffic was OK and we tried a little to the north west of the city, so that we could easily access Santa Monica to finish off the trip ...

... from the 1800s, asphalt and methane still bubbles from underground vents. Around are life sized statues of a mammoth family and a lone mastodon. Ricky went through the page musuem and had a religious experience as he came out.
We drove down to the Hollywood walk of fame and saw the Chinese Theatre and the walk of fame pavement. Had a fantastic salad at the Pig and Whistle then drove to a rest stop to camp for the night.
