Overnight with a view
I must admit I didn't spend much time in Buffalo, as it was just a place where we spent the night during our weekend at the Niagara Falls. The Hotel was great anyway: probably one of the best beds I've ever slept in! It's not in the town centre (closer to Lake Erie) but from the windows, I got a great view of the town. Great value for your money!

Giggles in the mist
... Canada. With strict instructions to be back on the bus for 3pm we head off to do the Maid of the Mist Steamboat, thinking we may have to queue for hours to get on. After all it is an American holiday weekend, what with it being July the 4th and everything! (I say 'we' here, as I met a young (21) English lad called James on the bus, who happens to also be staying in the same hostel.)

... you the 2nd one first. It was quite amazing to leave Canada by crossing the bridge and to immediately be in a run down, depressed type of area. The contrast was startling and a real surprise.
