... with the intermittent megaphoned voice declaring shark sightings to the south (beach clears). The holiday begins magnificently with a quick dip in the roof top pool, life is great! Cameron is just about to bring me my chilled glass of Pinot Gris, Amy is doing her best Hollywood style impersonation with her new hat....we are cooking our own dinner tonight and eating on the balcony. ... headed to gelato Messina which was recommended by Amy and I've heard a lot about! We both had a special ice cream with salted caramel, meringue and amaretti biscuits yum! Doug had another scoop of the 'swanson' ice cream which had whisky caramel haha! And I had blood orange as I fancied something fruity! They were all yummmmm and much needed on a hot day! We went on an all day tour with several other travelers. First we stopped at a Wildlife Park where all but the wallabies were contained. The wallabies were hopping all around wherever they wanted to go. We took many close-up pictures, getting a good look at the animals and birds, but it was not as exciting as coming on them in the wild.
