... Everything in the city is so open, fresh and lively, you never feel closed in or far from nature. All in all, a pretty perfect way to end our first afternoon in Seattle, and just a small sample of the humble beauty it has all around it.
Oh and the weirdest thing happened that night. While we sat and played cards in the common room, Seb whispered to me, "See that chick over there with the glasses? Who does she remind you of?" I had a quick lurk and decided she looked ...

So Instead, I wandered down to the 40th floor where I had passed a starbucks on the way up. I went in, sat at a window with a great view, and relaxed for maybe 20 minutes along with a chat with an english bloke who was visiting the states.
Then back to ye good ole airport to get my bag, go through security, and wait for my flight to depart at 8pm.
On Friday I spent the day on the acute trauma floor. I was surprised that there wasn't a trauma coordinator as such - their discharge coordinator acted as a go to person about the patients social status and discharge info but wasn't really involved in the acute care. It took a while to get to the patients, most of the morning was spent attending huddles, paging doctors to find out weight baring statuses and completing notes on the computer. ...
After a whirlwind adventure, it is time to come home and enjoy some of the amazing weather that Seattle is experiencing this summer. As our trip comes to an end, we will always have many fond memories of these two months together.
