It's about time for an update :-)

We flew to LA on 13th Feb but as it was over the date line we "went back in time" and arrived 20 hours after we first left Fiji, yet it was still 13th Feb in the morning!

... in bed suffering and it was worth it. We both had a terrible sleep Sunday night for some reason so slept in until midday on Monday. We woke up got ready, and went for a walk. We got to the ticket booth at treasure island which was next door and spoke to someone about show tickets. We stupidly agreed to a time share presentation so we could get tickets to a circus show for free. We were told it was 2-3 hours but ended up being 4. ... we could barely hear the oompah band. Which was actually a good thing because they were hardly playing any German songs. Mostly popular American songs in a German style (e.g. Sweet Caroline, Margaretville, Rocky Mountain High, Brown-eyed Girl). But it was a really fun time. Beer tends to do that. And the food was amazing. I had the Jagerschnitzel with spaetzle noodles and cream sauce. So good. I think I will never get anything else at the Hofbrauhaus.
