The next day we drove by a few places near and dear to me, including my childhood home, my schools,and my sister Cathy's old farm where I spent most of my youth growing up with my nieces and nephew. The rest of the day was spent avoiding our bug infested campsite (Good news Leslie is now getting bitten by bugs as well as me) by watching "The Worlds End" movie. Dinner was had at Chili's since trying to cook with all these insects would be unbearable.

For those of you who don't know, I'm headed to South Africa for the semester. I will be studying community health and social policy in Durban. I head out on August 21st, out of Chicago O'Hare. It's quite a long journey over to South Africa, but I am so excited to experience all that this adventure has to offer, and to share those experiences on this blog!
