    Day 25

We were up at 6:30a.m. and left the hotel before 8:00a.m. We made it to Toledo by 5:00. We were in our driveway before 6:00p.m. after a trip to the grocery store. All animals are alive, well, and happy to see us! Now the fun part of cleaning out the car:(

Yes, we would leave tomorrow and do it all over again if we could! There were a few meltdowns along the way, but the laughter and experiences far exceeded the not-so-fun times.

We got packed and pulled away from the home compound at 8:35 a.m. We were only 35 minutes behind schedule!! We headed to Detroit to take the Ambassador Bridge to cross into Windsor, Ontario.

    Instead of Tim Horton's . . . it was Mickey D's . . . for a little nourishment to get us to the 401! Later, ...

We traveled about five miles down this one road where there were only a handful of houses, but the numbers on the mailboxes were five numbers long. Odd, I thought. There aren't that many houses on the road. Must be a Michigan thing.

Yesterday we we drove all over, ...

... outside of Toledo and let us get a few hours before starting off again. If you are not familiar with rest stops in Ohio, they actually have pullover areas where you can hook up electric for $20 for the night. Rob thought that it was ridiculous, we could sleep, but no electric was deemed necessary. Plan was to get up and on road by 7:00am to grab coffee and make it home by the World Cup final at 2:00pm. I think I was asleep before I lay down.

    Where Am I ?

    ... RV Resort,

It is more camp like and woodsy. No pool, but a spring fed lake for swimming, also a separate smaller lake for fishing.

The camp sites are under tall, mature shade trees on very level sites. There are walking trails and ball fields. The office has a fully stocked ...
