Going home.........

A travel blog entry by anneliam

HI Folks,

This final blog is being written on a rather bumpy flight from Auckland to Los Angeles. We are just over two hours out from LA and I think the seat belt sign has been on for the most of the last ten hours. Nothing too dramatic but bumpy enough to spill my red wine at dinner. Not my fault this time or maybe it was… I hadn't drank enough of it to stop it sloshing out of the glass! However it didn’t stop us sleeping on ...

... back in and seeing the LA skyline was a surreal feeling. It started to hit me that we actually pulled this thing off!! We made it all the way to the other side of the country and back...during one of the coldest, harshest Decembers ever. By the time we got back to the hostel it had been a few hours. We relaxed for a bit but then went to madam tussauds as we hadn't been there yet. We took photos and looked around for about an hour. We went home and relaxed as we were going to six flags the next day. The shuttle picked us up at 10am on Sunday and we spent the ...

From there we went straight to the final show of the day Shrek 4D which was cool.

When we came out of that the Park was closing so headed out.

It was a pretty full on day going from one thing to the next just to fit everything in. It's a shame that we didn't have more time to go and use our Front of Line passes on doing the rides again. Universal Studios could definitely do with being open for ...
