... the only ones in the cave that morning so it is creepy, dark dark, and quiet. We clamber down with the aid of ropes, squish our butts through small openings, and pull ourselves back up through a rock chimney. In all we descend 87 meters and it takes us an hour to walk through the cave. The path through the cave is well laid out, but I am astounded they let people like me down here alone. There were plenty of people on the beach swimming, mostly families and we could see the stingrays cruising through the water in ...

Heading further down we stopped at Yallingup to take in the amazing scenery of endless coastlines, talcum powdered ...

... a lizard from its hiding spot and gave an Attenboroughesque narration for the visiting Americans. Yes we're English, no we don't know him, or the Beatles either. Linda recommended Augusta's famous bakery, the line of cars in the deserted town was hard to miss. We grabbed a chicken satay wrap and spinach and feta pastry picnic and went in search of Flinders bay. Only a police car sat in the free car park and none of the five picnic benches above the beach were taken. ...

... main st of Margaret River and explore. We then returned to the Park and made some sandwiches for lunch. It was decided that we would do a tour of a cave. We choose Jewel Cave as this cave was recommended to us by a local and is Australia's largest show cave We arrived for the 2.30 tour which would take an hour. The tour was very spectacular and was well organised and our tour guide was very knowledgable in the history of the cave You descend into the cave by a walk way of ramps ...
