... from Illinois, through Iowa into Minnesota in our longest drive yet--432 miles. Tomorrow, we're continuing through Minnesota into South-Dakota. The hotel we're staying in is a typical highway motel. It has a sign saying that "bikers are welcome". Indeed, there are a lot of travelers on motorcycle here, and they're probably all heading in the same direction as we.
This morning we hit the road by 10:00, for a day on the road. Driving for a day doesn't seem bad when you're in the RV because we can walk around, and do things. We don't have to stop for the "bathroom" or if we need to make a drink / coffee.. You just get right on up and do it.
