      ... Whirlpool bridge, but in the end turned around and headed back.
      On the way back, we strolled around the front of the Niagara Falls view Casino where there various vantage points with views of the falls.

      We are now at Buffalo airport waiting on our flight to Boston at 6.35pm. We were held up at security for a bit because the officials objected to Joanne having a bottle of maple syrup. She had to go back out, empty the bottle. Highly volatile in flight that Maple ...

      Lots of other stuff, of course, and there weren't that many kids, so some of the re-enactory-y people were able to chat about their particular building, occupation or whatever in between hordes of snotty nosed groups. The usual sorts of things - the Blacksmith, Carpenter/Cooper, Officer's Cook and more.

      Friday 3/1/14-well, todays blog will be filled with the good, the bad and the ugly!!

      Lets start at the beginning - we had booked a day tour to Niagara Falls flying from Kennedy Airport to Buffalo, then a bus to the falls, then fly back to New York - sounds ok doesn't it - maybe a little like fun but hang onto your hats folks, this ride is going to get a bit bumpy!!!

      Our first adventure is the Maid of the Mist. We go through the gates and begin to decent the ramp. It is a long way down but there are several photo opportunities along the way.
