    ... of the course was quieter, with nice homes around it.

    On the way to the course, we had to stop in Oxford and see the famous (from the TV show Hee Haw) Maggie Mae's Cafe, so we could take a couple pix and send them to Maggie's brother Rick, who encouraged us to stop and see it. Major Hee Haw fan he is. It was closed that day though, so we couldn't go in.

    We packed up most of the car last night before leaving and this morning we told the kids that we were going to a winter festival. When we pulled into the airport and the kids asked what we were doing there, I said we thought it would be fun to watch airplanes, to which the kids replied, "cool".     We met Cliff's father who is very all there in his late 90's, and a girl who was very proud of her John Deere cap with little jewels on it. John Deere make tractors and related farm equipment, so this cap was 'farm glam'.
