... was time to actually go in and explore the town of Sandwich – finally!
It was a stunning place, full of small town charm.
We passed the obligatory New England white spire church, an old working mill, a glass museum and lots of immaculate houses.
Our Cape Cod experience is quite different to Cape May. While we have bikes available to us we can't cycle as the roads are narrow - no footpaths and no cycle lanes. There are bike trails around the Cape but we can't transport them in our rental car.
We can walk to 2 golf courses, can fish in the pond below our house but must tour by car. We found a really good natural history museum and a walk through ...
