    ... the eastern part of the island. We started to ride on the bike path off the road and on the bike path on the harbor side of the eastward swing. We got about 30 minutes into the ride and Marinn said, "is this all we are going to see it greenery?". We wanted to rent bikes to be able to see the island appropriately.     The day started out with breakfast in the hotel Vanderbilt Grace. The house was originally built by Alfred Vanderbilt for his mistress. Then it was converted to a YMCA for years until it was converted to a Boutique hotel that we stayed at with 33 rooms. We had the same waitress, Laura, that we had yesterday. She is a student at U of Rhode Island. Another good meal, checked out and drove to the Providence Airport getting there by 10 am. ...

    Its overcast this morning, but the sun is supposed to
    peak out from behind the clouds early this afternoon. We think we've
    already picked out our itinerary for today's ride. We're scheduled to ride 43
    miles, but all the highlights seem to be during the middle miles. The first 12
