... we went from below sea level, winding up to 7,500 feet through the Vallecito Mountains, and through the Ewiiaapaayp Band of Kumeyaay Indians (hah, you thought I made that up, didn't you....look it up on the map, fooooo) and through the Anza-Borrego Desert.

Oh man. Talk about a wild ride! And good thing this little Smarty car is reliable, otherwise it would have been a huge risk, with no one coming to rescue your stupid butt anytime in the ...

But my question is the preverbal one - what the heck do you do for water, how/where do you unload full tanks, what is there to do out there and ...

A travel blog entry by kimbryce on Jul 28, 2014

Had a bit of an interrupted sleep from all the duff duffing from the nightclubs down the road, we set off down town to the local market, sensory overload! We ate some lunch but I'm a bit worried I will regret that! Lol wasn't the cleanest the cook was using an old scabby cloth to hold our tacos in, and I'm not sure how safe the meat was as I watched him get it out of a cupboard, not a fridge, not sure how long it had been sitting there for.. Really enjoyed ...

    Border cossing

A travel blog entry by kimbryce on Jul 27, 2014

Today we drove from LA to San deago on the main highway, we dropped our rental car off, then got the shuttle into town and then took the red line to Tijuana, met lots of interesting people on the red line! Then we got dropped off at the border and walked through, it was a fast walk! A little scarey, arrived ...
