... San Luis took us through a lovely scenic drive, past more farm land and through golden hills which looked almost like piles of sand. Unfortunately we did not really have enough time to go to downtown Santa Barbara so we walked out to the end of the Pier, had a chat with some of the fisherman there who were fishing for Mackerel. They had caught quite a few but they were only the size of our sprats. They were going to fry them for tea.
