We lost Wednesday all together on the way back !! We gained a day on the way over though. A very very long flight. Fifteen hours and a quarter, and the cabin is kept dark all the time, so we didn't see daylight ! Slept a bit, and watched a couple of movies. Arrived Hong Kong early ....at 4.20am. The silver linings are: it chewed up nearly half of our stopover time, it could have been something far more valuable, and it could have been left somewhere a lot harder to find like on a bus. ... in all aspects of the day. I also seen a real life panda here - AMAZING! Victoria peak is the highest point in Hong Kong and requires you to take a gravity defying tram up to the top of it. After a very traumatising tram journey, I was at the top and understood why people make that journey. The views at the top were breathtaking, like nothing I have ever seen before. There is also 2 shopping malls, Madame Tussaud's and the best noodles I've ever had in my ...

... day before. Susie slept on the coach but her snoring did not disturb other passengers. As we approached the city, David appreciated the description that so many had given him in advance of our visit. Never have so many high rise residential tower blocks been squeezed into an area the size of a postage stamp. It is truly unbelievable how every square inch has been developed upwards! There seemed to be major building works ...
