Michael "enjoyed" the experience of peak hour traffic and now feels that he is a pro in LA traffic.. It was interesting to see the newer development of a suburban shopping mall built on the more a traditional pedestrian friendly town square but in the confines of a secure shopping precinct. We found a large Barnes and Noble book shop to do a bit of browsing.
We arrived at LAX early but this didn't help us as immigration didn't open till 6.30am meaning we had to sit on the plane for 20 minutes and wait! Weird to think we left New Zealand at 6.40am on the 14th June and arrived in LA at 6am also on the 14th June after having spent a total of almost 16 hours on planes! Went through immigration, claimed our bags and headed outside to meet the shuttle. We were the last to be dropped off meaning we got to see a bit of LA. ...
