... couple in the sandrail next to us that we had been talking to while we were waiting that were in their 80's. They had a hard time getting into and out of the sandrail, but had no problem enjoying the ride. He said he and his wife had been doing this for decades. Did you know there is a wildlife safari in Oregon? We went there today to see animals from all over the world - up close and personal, well from the car anyway. This place is really neat, they are especially known for their work with cheetah conservation and we were greeted by a cheetah cub when we walked into the pre-safari center. After the park visit, we drove another 20 miles south to the Seven Feathers Casino to take advantage of their "all you can eat" crab feed at the buffett. Prior to dinner, I hit a small win for $100 to make the day a plus.

Spending time with family is always a good time, and this trip made it even better. Life is good.

... Winery and Distillery right on the bank of the Umpqua River. A lovely home with tasting room in the back overlooking the river. Good wine there too. Sandy Glaser is the winemaker and her son Leon is the distiller - making some lovely little liqeuors. I think we could have happily spent several more days in this area but it was time to move on. Next stop Durango RV Park in Red Bluff CA.
