... today (especially Max; he really wanted to see one). The terrain looked promising, but we unfortunately did not spot any of the large cactus plants (they must have migrated south for the winter:). However, we did get to see some cool trees of Joshua Tree National Park and those were pretty neat.

We were greeted by cold rainy weather and it was dark and gloomy. But we had a nice comfy hotel that we checked into and we made it home very quickly.
We gained a day so it is the same date as when we left Auckland.
