Today was supposed to be a rain day so we planned things that didn't require good weather. As it turned out it was a beautiful day - probably over 19 degrees!! We started out at the Folk Center - many great pieces from local artisans including quilting, pottery, paintings, woodworking, jewellery no more. Then we drove to the Builtmore Estate - home of the Vanderbuilts. We didn't actually see it ... A very ...

I started 'a tab' for drinks, which was a bad idea cos every time I finished my drink the bar girl would take my bottle and ask me if I wanted another and of course I said yes so by the end of the evening I discovered that I had drank little too much. Anyway, we had a great evening and I wouldn't change it for the ...

... to see yet another bloody waterfall. I'm sick to death of waterfalls now, they're all so boring to me but Stef hears or reads about a waterfall and immediately wants to go take a look. We parked up and walked over the board where they had the usual boards illustrating the various trails to view the falls from.differing elevations. They were all graded from Easy, Medium to Difficult. One weirdo saw us looking at the trail board and said "You guys have gotta see ...
