... jet airliner from Baltimore to home on Friday. The drive back would be a little much for Will, great and hearty traveler that he is. Thanks to the Mister's plethora of frequent flyer miles, it was a no-brainer for them to grab the essentials and take to the air to make the last travel leg an easy one for our young hero.

We pulled into a very small six spot park and picked out our spot next to a babbling creek that was nestled up to the Pisgua National Forest.  It was a beautiful, peaceful spot. ... The hammock is wonderful! Maddie found her lab self and won't stop swimming and fetching sticks!!! Sam loves the tall swing. Found courage to jump in the water midair and having a great time. ... to see yet another bloody waterfall. I'm sick to death of waterfalls now, they're all so boring to me but Stef hears or reads about a waterfall and immediately wants to go take a look. We parked up and walked over the board where they had the usual boards illustrating the various trails to view the falls from.differing elevations. ... finally Chimney Rock. The best part of the ride was the river that ran right alongside the road. Around Gerton, we stopped in a a weaver shop and bought a couple of souvenirs. Many of the hotels and shops around here sit right up against a stream, making it super scenic.
