Now, finding all these cat paraphernalia, I logically expected to find a stray cat somewhere, too! But there was no cat to be found! I finally did locate something grey and furry hidden away underneath the radiator.

And a long walk, partly through the lovely park, and via a little bottle shop which also sold chips and things (we were actually on the hunt for some fruit; we'd seen some earlier when we were still stuffed with breakfast.) Back to our hotel for a few hours down-time before setting out for a walk along the river and back through the park.

... was from the top of a new shopping centre. A great view and another time of silence and reflection. The night was old and we headed back. I was able to crash while Viktorija was busy with errands. She was able to turn her double bed into two singles. She lives in a hostel and the room is comfy and warm. She offers me a homemade liquer before lights out, I forget what it was but it tasted good!

The rule about the festival is that you have to stay out until the first bird sings when the sun comes up the next morning. We powered through with beer, food, and dancing and I saw the sun come up about 4 am (it only went down around 1 am). Waking up for 11 am check out was not fun the next morning, but not the end of the world.
