... and Sun Valley - also well known US ski resorts - contrasted sharply with their Colorado peers, and in Ketchum, we were able to spend a couple of hours at the Sun Valley Arts Festival - the work by local and interstate artists was incredible (and humbling!) We also took time to salute one of Ketchum's better known residents, Ernest Hemingway, who is buried in the local cemetery.

It took 2 hours to get to our new temporary home for thenight. We pulled in at 7 PM and
immediately felt welcome. Apparently this small campground is frequented by the same people who stay here all summer long….we got the only unoccupied space. They helped us pull in and set up and after dinner we hung out and told stories ...

... evergreens everywhere and every once in a while you'd see a lake/river.

We also spent some time in the little town of West Glacier doing a little touristy sightseeing/shopping. The town is really cute and we watched some of the folks who were rafting trying to maneuver the rapids.

Went back to the campground early and just relaxed outside and enjoying the scenary around us. It was just so relaxing.
