    Drove home to Curt's Sunday after seeing Swan Lake. Bette's daughter Amanda and family visited. Went to great restaurant El Corporal for huckleberry margarita. Huckleberries are the famous fruit of Montana.they grow also in Idaho and Pacific Northwest. They have the most anti-oxidants of all fruits after the acai berry. They are smaller than a blueberry and a little tastier. Really tasty though. ...

    ... snow, and the stopped at the Visitors center to get some information on the trails. the Hidden Lake nature trail was open to the overlook--about 1.5 miles one way. We filled up our water bottles, grabbed our hiking poles, and set off. the alpine meadow s blooming with spring/summer flowers.     ... at the 3,400 foot level and ended up around the 3,900 foot level...did I mention UP? It really was a great trail, but it took one and one half hours to climb up to the Avalanche Lake. Now mind you, I was stopping to take every moment to take a picture and Nick was forging ahead (as you will soon see)! I'm SO lucky he is MINE!!!
