... it out tonight, I will try to find a better signal tomorrow. After making sure we would be OK for this evening, we drove a few miles up the road to the local mall where I was finally able to get my nails done. While I was doing that, John got on the phone and has made us reservations at the KOA in West Glacier for tomorrow night and Thursday night. He also called the Red Bus concession in Waterton-Glacier International Peace Park (its official name) and made us ...

... has been around 50 years. The sign on the door says they will pay $30 a gallon for huckleberries. We had huckleberry ice cream cones. YUM! The sun is out. This is scenery is forest, not as diverse as yesterday. We travel by a series of lakes. We cross into. Montana and mountain time zone. We see a deer and a flock of turkeys....wow. We also saw a sign we do not recall ever having seen, it read: Cell phone pullout 1/4 mile. Novel idea. We begin to see the Rockies, but no snow ...

Plus the fact that there were signs saying 'rough road' didn't help. 13 + hours later we arrive in Kalispell, MT for our first meal of the day (nibs and coffee don't count so I've been told). Now in our room, we are too tired to think of where tomorrows destination is, a worry for the morning with fresh eyes and ...

... for a day or two with more visits from various family members. We then made the 10 hour drive to Portland, Oregon to visit my sister Heather and her 4 kids. Busy bodies the were Jay-T being 3, Faith 4 almost 5, and the older two, Tyara 14, and Tuyen nearing 17! We had fun making dinner and painting pumpkins. As cliche as it sounds, they grow up too fast but it was so good to see them. We also fit in a quick night out in Portland to see ...

... We didn't see as much wildlife as Banff, but the beauty and history of the area really makes the trip. What I didn't realized is that this was the National Park that was used to bring tourism to US National Parks. Their motto "See America First" was used to influence american citizens to see their country first and convince them that the same beauty of the Alps can be seen in their backyard rather than going over to the Europe. Glaciar was ...
