          We have a cold day today but a short one. We need to make Portland Maine so Carolyn can fly home. We stop at a state park called Battle Mountain and pay $9 entrance fee to take a 2 mile road up to the top. The view is of Penobscot Bay. It is colder on top with the wind than when we are on the bike. We are using our electric jackets to keep warm. We make a stop at the LL Bean super store for a few small purchases.           There was a whole prep school baseball team there watching a professional team and maybe wishing one day they could be playing at Hadlock someday.
