While listening to my most favorite song at the moment (Turtle, by Alana Davis), I've realized my trip has BEGUN!!!! It wasn't real until now. I'm sitting at my seat on my way to JFK airport, waiting for my dinner, and I don't really have much to say except that my excitement is finally here. No worrying, no doubting, just excitement. ... with motorized drapes in case you might like to shower and give the world a view. Most of the bathrooms in Asia and Australia had waterfall showers. So wonderful. I. Want. One.
2nd Place: Grand Hyatt Erawan (Thailand). Lovely...and my first initiation to the heated potty seats (more on that later). Toilets deserve their own category.
3rd Place: The Andaz Hotel in Tokyo, Japan. Lots of walnut....sleek and smooth...just so pretty.

Early start this morning as we had to be out of the stateroom by 8 and off the ship by 9.30. So the alarm was set for 6.30 and up we got and went for our final breakfast in the Da Vinci dining room. Lovely as always, I'm going to miss that, especially the lemon and or custard danish pastries. After going through passport control, we then grabbed our luggage & and went to the Sandals lounge to await transport to our resort (1 of 3 on the island).
