After going around the lazy river once, we got off and went on these "racer" slides that you went down face first and had a little sled (nothing steep, so my mom did it twice and had a blast!). After that, I decided to go on the steep slides - one was a steep drop and then had a loop-de-loop and was enclosed (blue slide), while the other one was a straight drop (red slide)! I did the blue slide twice before I tried the red one! Both were fun, but ...

We stopped for dinner at a Perkins where we decided instead of going all the way to South Dakota, we would stop in Luverne for the night. Mom was a bit road weary and ready for a stretch and a good night's sleep.

Our total mileage for today was 386 miles. Tomorrow we're heading for the Western side of South Dakota! We'll see if we get there!

... The Black Anaconda (water coaster) had broken down a bit before the family got there so that remains on the "next round" list if we ever come back. The humans reported taking in a number of water rides before getting some munchies. They took in the 4D Dive In experience then headed back to the rides. Sarah and Dad's favorite was The Scorpion. Paul's favorite was the The Big Kahuna (the wave pool) and Mom's favorite was The Stingray.

need to get that looked at in case there's a leak.

We drove from the campground and saw an
Outlet Mall so thought we'd stop for an hour since it was almost
lunchtime. Four hours later we surfaced. Time seemed to be on a
different dimension or at least it sucked a few hours that we didn't
    realise. But there ...

From Minneapolis I headed south looking for the best way to
    follow the Mississippi River. I
crossed the river at the town of Prescott WI and then followed the Wisconsin
Great River Road along the river for about 120 miles. It was a great backroad tour through small
towns, the river valley, and by the locks and dams that mark this stretch of
    the river. The river/reservoirs are
    wide now compared ...
