    ... At one point we thought they had made a massive improvement but then realised the guide had tied a rope from his kayak to theirs to try and drag them along.

    We were in a double kayak and I was at the front. There were some points where I was finding it incredibly difficult and when I turned round Wills was not even paddling. He was just looking up to the sun trying to get a tan whilst leaving me to do the hard graft.

    The other plus for those catching planes is that the Centre has a number of lockers for hire at a reasonable price ($3.50 for 3 hours) which means you can look around without worrying about your luggage.

    Afterwards we went to the Airport and caught the plane to Queenstown - Courtney was lucky enough to get a window seat again. More about Queenstown in the next installment.

    ... at leisure. Our first visit was the Cathedral. You could tell it was once beautiful and the architecture is very similar to that of England. The early European settlers to settle in Chirstchurch were from England hence why there's a Canterbury and Christchurch in England too.
