The problem is what do you do with 40,000 homeless people? Some have been offered cheap even free accommodtion but most prefer to live on the street. Welcome to my first blog! My 85 yr. old father, Bob, and I are on the Ruby Princess, sailing out of the Port of Los Angeles to the Mexican Riviera.
On Sunday, April 19th, I drove my car from San Diego to South Orange County, picked up my dad and we drove the rest of the way (about another hour) to San Pedro. Thankfully, we didn't run into heavy traffic despite the Long Beach Grand Prix being this weekend.
... SIDE NOTE: I am now getting use to the traffic in Los Angeles and feel as though I should get a badge or something like I would if I were a boy scout; it is a worthy accomplishment I am proud of).
