  • Always explore the camp grounds on day 1. You never know what you are missing out on.
  • Things I will remember about this trip:
    • The ravine and hike
    • Rain, rain and more rain
    • The turtle in the turtle hole
    • The pee pee tree
    It worked out well for my son's first trip- nothing too exciting was thrown our way but there were hurdles none the less. I would say the first camping trip was a success!

    OMG. One of the best nights I've had in Gainesville was when Lisa and her UCF crew came up for gator stompin. Gator stompin night was okay but the night AFTER. OMG. So drunk. So awesome. So fun.     We have had two beautiful days in Gainesville! The weather is gorgeous, sunny and mid seventies. The company has been even better! We are thoroughly enjoying our time with Dad and Marcia.

    Yesterday we visited the Butterfly Rainforest and natural history museum at the University of Florida. What an amazing experience, being surrounded by soft butterfly wings in lush vegetation! There were flowers blooming everywhere and many different species ...
