Afetr packing up the car we walked down to 3rd street at the Santa Monica promenade to shop, shop, shop!!! And we did do lots of shopping. We then walked back to the hotel and picked up the car and drove to Anaheim, which took less than an hour. The Tropicana Motel is across the road from Disneyland. We went for a drive to Newport Beach (that's the one on the OC). We then called in to South Coast Plaza for more shopping. Back at the motel we had a quick swim/spa in the pool.
Anaheim, California, United States ellenwillowAfter a short drive from the airport, we checked in at the Tropicana Inn and Suites in Anaheim. Our room was not ready so we grabbed the items we were going to need for our day in the parks. We decided to go into Disney's California Adventure first. The girls first wanted to ride Monster's Inc. Mike and Sulley to the Rescue. The sign said that there was a 10 minutes wait but, it turned out to be just a few minute wait and we were on the ride. After that we decided to walk back to see how long...

... and then into the barn. At Minnie's house next door, she greeted you on the porch for a picture and then you got to look in her refrigerator. No surprise, cheese!
We really wanted to see a princess so we waited a long time in line at the Disney Princess Fantasy Faire. Aurora, Cinderella and Snow White were all there.
After a breather at the hotel, we headed back over to ride 'it's a small world' and Space Mountain. This was a ...
... we went back to the hotel on the mono rail. Another trip to the pool where Callie still doesn't want to go swimming. No bee stings this time though. Dinner time at the Rain Forest Cafe. Very big place and they send you though quickly. Must make a lot of money. Callie had a minor melt down and we had to bribe her with a promise to buy her a cup. There was Thunder and Lightening every 15 ...
Anaheim, California, United States evanschwab... L.A. drivers and how they cut off other drivers without having their signal lights on. Not cool for foreigners when they are the ones driving. On Sunday, I pretty much did nothing. Just watched "Stardust" and printed out boarding passes for the flight to L.A. Said goodbyes to everyone. I know I will see them again, so it wasn't that bad to say goodbye! But I got sad once I went to the airport and it was just the family now....the six of us. No more the ...
Los Angeles, California, United States bobamaniac715... behind us. Everyone knows how much we love children...this is going to be a long 5 hour flight! We were smart enough to have brought some of our own snacks (spam musubi, of course!) so that we wouldn't have to pay the outrageous prices for the food on the plane. It is amazing how expensive everything is getting to be in States these days...these little revelations made us miss being abroad! By the time we were getting ...

I tell him that I understand I've missed the flight but I need to figure out this confirmation issue. He begin tapping away at the key board and figures out the problem: they inverted my first and last names. I, Bambury Jean am on the flight! I was tempted to jump over the desk and kiss him! I ask him about the Air Pacific thing considering it is Air New Zealand and ...

Los Angeles, California, United States johnsinclair... ahead of me. But first I had to get to Centraal Station. Being no stranger to trains, I bought my ticket, jumped on the train and rode into Amsterdam. That's when it happened. I walked out of Centraal Station and into a beautiful Amsterdam day only to fall in love with this cosmopolitan village. I loved the trams that whisk you around, the door to Marcel's B&B nestled between a clothing store and a falafel restaurant, the ...
