We're heading to New York City in two days and we decided to cancel our first tour, which was on Famous Fat Dave's Eating Tour. Gave Dave a quick call to cancel, he was so lovely, no problem at all. We couldn't justify paying USD480 for a 4 hour tour even though it had a very high rating on Trip Advisor.
... and they very professionally directed us to our destination. We had driven right off the map, almost to St Catherine's looking for a Starbucks. By now it was 7.30pm.
Our room was very nice compete with a spa. Gabrielle said it was our wedding present. The hotel was two blocks from the falls and the Clifton Hills strip which was very steep. We had dinner at Perkins which was over the road from the hotel. Chey had mac ...
We are trying to get cross the border before rush hour. We'll see. We are also trying to make it to the fireworks show and Falls lights tonight. Woo hoo eh?

After a sad goodbye with the Waglers we stopped at the St. Jacobs farmers market on our way to Niagara Falls. What a find that was!!! Super shopping for fresh produce....tomatoes, corn, pickled corn, raspberries, carrots, peppers, potatoes, bread, bread, more bread and bulk maple syrup directly from the Amish producer. We also found a stand for sausage rolls and meat pies so the kids were able to satisfy their cravings. Homemade butter ...

Most of the 38 people on board are Aussies with a few from England and Ireland and their are 4 kids but surprisingly everyone gets on and most are very pleasant, we were a bit worried about the whole bus scenario but as it has turned out its been really great.
Tomorrow it's off to stalk and perv at the Amish, then to Gettysburg, after that we get to Washington late tomorrow afternoon to say hello to ...
