Here we are at Richard's favorite destination...NOT. It was here that we stopped on our very first cruise back in October of 2002. Nothing to do but relax, eat, swim, walk along the beach and he didn't like it...can you imagine? Well, it was very hot and we've never visited a beach like this before. Back in 2002 we did get into 90* water in 90* weather! He got over it ...

This was a day to relax after 3 straight days of touring and rushing from one scheduled event to another. I took advantage of the quiet morning and did laundry. I got a good deal as the one dryer would not stop, so no quarters were needed there!

We played another trivia game this afternoon, but we were pitiful...another couple joined us, but we only got half of the answers right...they were even multiple choice! We didn't even do ...

Hatchett Bay calls itself the Bahamas' most protected harbour.... Well isn't that kind of ironic?!?Mother Nature took out her frustrations on the only other boat in the harbour. Protected from wind and waves...yes. From lightning? Nope.

Since the lighting strike, we've become "good neighbours" with Mike. He's been doing a ton of work to his boat to recover from the strike (and fire) and move on. ...

Governor's Harbour was the prettiest and most picturesque harbour we've been to thus far.

We also were very happy to find a sports bar with satellite TV so that we could watch the World Cup. Bahamian cable was blocking the games - making them pay-per-view only.

We were in Rock Sound for the fireworks and celebrations. Interestingly enough, the party begins the night before so that they can have fireworks at midnight to welcome the 10th of July right from the start!

Sorry if the first few pics are repeats.

Bad wifi...the fact that I got pics uploaded is impressive!!! ...
