We headed to the Glass Window today, which is about 27 nm from Governor's Harbour. We had good winds on the beam at 10 to 15 knots. On our way we saw a few dolphins and a turtle. Also we encountered quite a few fishing nets sailing here as well as to Governor's Harbour. I never seen so many, we had to be careful to avoid them as we do not want them in our propellers.

Our plan is to stay at Glass Window for a day, then head over to Spanish ...

We had a good sail into Governor's Harbour from Rock Sound on Wednesday, with winds on the beam at 15 to 18 kn. We arrived early afternoon and had enough time to grab some lunch and head to Cupid's Cay.

There were a few shops and restaurants in this small community and the people were very friendly. ...

Overnight was hot and still. Made sleeping a real challenge. But we woke to mostly clear skies. We were able to enjoy a few hours sipping coffee, feeding the fish (apparently they love Cheerios!), and packing up any last minute items. Phillip arrived with Ron the taxi driver and we loaded up our bags. Both gentlemen were so pleasant. Much like everyone else ...

I successfully called in my DVFR flight plan with Miami Flight Service. And I contacted the Fort Pierce Customs and Border Protection office to file an Arrivals Report. With the eAPIS on file from a week or so ago, the agent had everything he needed and just verified the details with me, especially our arrival time. They are fairly strict about timing arrivals as you can imagine they don't welcome unexpected visitors kindly. I still need to ...
