Louis to Memphis showed us that the Midwest is really that flat and really does go on for that long ( fall asleep passing one big field and wake up six hours later and you’d swear you were passing the same one). We loved shedding our thermals around then, slightly less when the storms and tornado came.

    ... reopened and we were about 20th in line to take off. At 3:45 it closed again. You know it's a bad sign when the plane's engines are turned off while you're sitting on the taxiway.     What a lovely old city filled with lots of history from the old fort to the blue cobble stone streets made from old ships ballast. We decided to go on the "long" hike in the rain forest. The area, maintained by the US Park Service is lush, green, filled with lots of bamboo trees and different plants. Guess what... It rained - I guess that's what you should expect in a rain forest.
