    Wi-Fi, parking, discount for meals at Charles Dickens Pub next door, complimentary breakfast (OK), comfortable rooms, good service. Can recommend.

    Today we were in Sidney Nova Scotia went a tour of Beddick hometown of Alexander Graham Bell inventor of the telephone. He actually improved on the airplane designing one himself. Thru out his life he invented a hydroplane and a prelude to a snowmobile. He spent most of his life teaching the deaf, his own mother was deaf. He meet a wealthy deaf girl ...

    ... It was as beautiful and amazing as we remembered. Just stunning beds of colour and blooms - indescribable really - and the lovely sunken garden which was created from a quarry. So we went to the concert lawn area soon after 7 pm where they have a stage set up and rows of seats, so we didn't have to get stiff sitting on the ground!!! There was quite a crowd, but being Monday not packed. And ...

    ... instead ate burgers and pizza from a food cart (side note: when Zach ordered the pizza straight off of the menu the guy looked at him like he was crazy and said, "OK...but it will take 7or 8 minutes..."     ... of RV and trailer but with a pick up truck,,, I now understand why some of those trailers were as big as they were!


    The closer we got to Victoria though the busier the roads got and trying to pick our way across downtown Victoria with hordes of marauding Canadians bedecked in red and white and road closures is one experience of Canada I really don't fancy reliving!
