    Wi-Fi, parking, discount for meals at Charles Dickens Pub next door, complimentary breakfast (OK), comfortable rooms, good service. Can recommend.

    This morning we had a brisk 4+ mile walk (Amr more) along the cycle/walking track round Lake Sammamish. This was after a yummy breakfast of runny poached eggs on toast! Beautiful morning in Seattle. John and Carole drove us to the Victoria Clipper at about 2 pm - almost entirely full, thank goodness we booked months ago!!     ... the Sidney street fair, which was kind of like Fridays After Five, so was right up our alley. The parade of dogs fascinated Diane and Melina scouted out every free sample she could find. We even chatted with Alan, the owner of the lavender farm who had been so kind to us yesterday, and running into someone we knew mad it feel like Charlottesville, and for the first time I realized our trip is almost over. Bittersweet.

    ... br> My dad and I caught up with Rob just in time to watch the two sea lions dive under the water. I don't think they even saw us as the female surfaced between our two kayaks, less than 7 feet away from me!     ... so that should the boat be turned over
    they will stay with the boat and not be thrown clear. This by definition therefore requires that crew be able to hold their breathe whilst the boat is upside down and busy self righting itself….. Think about that, it requires nerves of steel and a bullet proof trust in one’s boat to perform as designed.
