Claire and I then took a bus to Las Vegas where we met Emily and Joey, two amazing Canadians who both went on exchange to Utrecht and who became my best friends on the other side of the world. Emily and I had been planning our trip since she left the Netherlands last year and it was so good to finally see her and start our adventure!! The bus arrived late at night so when we entered the city and drove onto the Strip, the main street of Vegas, everything was lit up and shining bright. ...
... just to go to the toot. The upside to that was that if one were drunk enough to pass out while sitting on it, you would at least be found in a less undignified sitting position.
That said, its just a hotel room, and as such is just a place to sleep. That is of course if someone will let you sleep. My travelling partner and full time ball and chain, Samantha dedcided she was tired when we arrived ...
... hollywood blvd we were detoured to the other side of the road as they were having a premier that night. Moms night out is the movie. We didn't know any of the cast or seen the trailer. Nicole and myself were devastated as the night before it was Neighbors Premier with Seth Rogan and Zac Effron, now that would have been cool. We also saw and drove past an actor from Breaking Bad getting his star on the hollywood walk of fame.

... off... After scouring the operators manual, Brad discovered there is a weight sensor in the seat. If there is insufficient weight, the car determines there must be a child or baby capsule in the seat and disarms the airbag... Lol
Now he is even more determined to put on the extra kilo's !!
The trip was fairly uneventful from Pismo to LA and apart from a bit of congestion for the last 10km, we arrived around ...
