I'll interlude here for half a second - my husband bless his soul has exaggerated (unlike him!) he also bought himself True Religion jeans and 2 pairs of shorts..and a chocolate ! Single ride costs 1,50$ and there are no transfers, meaning you have to pay every time you change the bus. A weekly pass costs 21$. A funny thing is that the drivers tend to stop the bus just somewhere on the street and go to the toilet or to grab something to eat and then they just continue the ride. ... Highway 101 - a snaking Freeway squeezed in on course towards Sunset Boulevard and beyond - and were surprised at how fast it was. We got to Universal Studios at around 10.30am and paid $25 for Preferred Parking instead of the usual $15 where you had to walk further to get to Universal City.
