Travelodge Las Vegas
Travel Blogs from Las Vegas
We cruised down Route-66 and 6-hours (pit stop for shopping and Starbucks) and 250-miles after leaving the Grand Canyon we were passing the ‘Hoover Dam’ and hitting the infamous ‘Las Vegas Boulevard’ - a.k.a. THE Strip! We had now entered the desert state of Nevada where we have spent the last 4-spectacularly-hectic-nights.< …
Oh man, it feels great to wake up in Vegas (baby).
Even if you are not cool, like me and Noah, Vegas (baby) makes you feel good by just being near to something so damn cool. And if you are cool, like Elwood, it is the place to shine.
So the day begins with a hotel breakfast (of course) and I just want to illustrate how much I have …
We awake, and look out the window and we truly are in the desert. No trees, except for some hairy cactus, and rock. It is already hot, but it is pretty, in a dry, desert-like way.

Claire obviously still drunk decided that we needed to be awake at 9am, I did not agree. We had missed breakfast so there was no reason to be awake at that time. Good location - the only positive thing I can say about this place.
Staff rude. Room awful, peeling paint, sink hanging off the wall, pillows that feel like they are full of cotton wool balls. Only 2 lights in the room - 1 bedside table and a wall light that buzzed like a fly killing light. Freezing cold shower. had 3 nights booked here, stayed the first, now canx and booked into Circus Circus over the road and its cheaper!
