We're in the quaint little town of Williams which is the sort of jump off point for the Grand Canyon excursions. The hotel we stayed in has the reputation of being the oldest hotel in Arizona.

We chose here as we really want to experience nature at it's best. The pictures I've seen so far are awesome.

... the age of vehicles. We saw a beautiful old Corvette Stingray today. Hammering with top down on the mountain road. Everyone waves to each other. Well I do anyway. ... about it, Wile E Coyote didn't look too much like the coyote we saw earlier today either. Our next stop off was at Hackman General Stores, this was heaven for me as there were many old American vehicles spread around the place. After taking photos of every single one of them, sorry Elaine, and having a quick look around the store we continued on our way. After this it was quite a drive before we reached the last town on this section of the ...

... with flat land, sand dunes and HEAT. It is unbelievable that people lived here and still do as there does not look like anything to make a living. We found out why a lot of people have Polaris RZR sand buggies as we came upon a large dune area before we got to I-40 and then again down in Lake Havasu. Arizona tags these vehicles so they are street legal.

Saw the London Bridge in Lake Havasu, which after it was re-erected they dug a canal so it ...
