We're in the quaint little town of Williams which is the sort of jump off point for the Grand Canyon excursions.The hotel we stayed in has the reputation of being the oldest hotel in Arizona.

The burros are the descendants of burros brought there by miners in the late 1800s; when the miners no longer needed them, they were turned loose. Each morning they come into town looking for food. There was no housing in Kingman so they lived in Oatman and traveled into town every day via the twisting road we had been on yesterday.
