Finally Home

A travel blog entry by lindakhaas on Sep 29, 2014

I woke up between 4 and 5 and wrote blogs for over two hours. I had to do them in Word to post later because we didn't want to pay the 10 bucks for the Wifi. We are in the middle of the campus of the University of Ohio, which is huge, just by the shopping centre. Handy for buying the stuff for our breakfast! Comfest, the community festival, has been going since 1972 and this year featured 250 bands playing on 5 stages ...

At our staff meeting the Tuesday morning before July 4th, Brandon announced the good news to us. In addition to the day after July 4th, we would be taking the whole next week off, with pay! Woo Hoo! Rather than stay in Tuscaloosa during the time off, where I would probably just keep working on Habitat homes (Know thyself) I put together a road trip. I had wanted to visit my 2nd son Bob in Columbus Ohio for some time ...
