    ... down the interstate.

First day out is usually just a travel day as we are in areas close to home with out much new to see. Today, however, we decided to venture off the Pennsylvania Turnpike and go the Flight 93 Memorial from the 9-11 attacks. The memorial is not complete as they are building a visitor center and educational center. The plane nose-dived into the ground and the crash site is marked with a large boulder. The actual crash site can only be ...

    ... on the ride.

What else, what else... I went on the Magnum, Wicked Twister, oh, oh, and Mantis!! I went on Mantis. This is a normal enough roller coaster, but you go on it standing up. :D It definitely feels quite different. I also went on Gatekeeper. I think it's a fairly new ride there. And soooooo smooth!!! Big loops and inversions that make you want to put your arms out and just sail. Beautiful feeling. And you gotta ...

A travel blog entry by thewalshes on Aug 06, 2014

The kids had been looking forward to this our whole trip. We passed this park last time we were in the area and we were told afterwards that it is one of the better amusement parks in the country. We had a really great day here. We all worked up the courage to try some of the really crazy roller coasters they have here.
Sydney and Wendy went on several of the looping and corkscrew coasters and loved them.

    Day 25

A travel blog entry by danielstravels on Jul 26, 2014

We were up at 6:30a.m. and left the hotel before 8:00a.m. We made it to Toledo by 5:00. We were in our driveway before 6:00p.m. after a trip to the grocery store. All animals are alive, well, and happy to see us! Now the fun part of cleaning out the car:(

Yes, we would leave tomorrow and do it all over again if we could! There were a few meltdowns along the way, but the laughter and experiences far exceeded the not-so-fun times.

    CEDAR POINT - DAY 3!

A travel blog entry by matthew-thomas on Jul 24, 2014

Sadly our days at Cedar point are now over! After the usual ride filled morning we went to the water park - Splash City. The slides were quite fun however it was insanely windy, especially at the top of Slides, so Zac and I went back to the Park before dinner whilst Tyler relaxed with a book! We did go into (or ...
