    The final leg comprised of a 19 hour drive over 4 relaxing days. However, the weather wasn't going to let us off that easy with temperatures at one point falling to -9 degrees during the day and averaged a very brisk -3 degrees overnight. One morning we even woke to a layer of snow on the van!!! This was all a far cry from the hot & humid conditions that we had in the US's southern states.

    ... buildings left in a world below a world. Third stop of the day was the convention centre, Seattle's highest building. It was a bit pricier than I expected but as I was already on the 74th floor I got involved anyway. Quite funnily Starbucks are within every block vertically too.     ... as though the flight to Anchorage tonight will be a full one. Several families with what appears to be hundreds of children under the age of 10, but I am sure it isn't that many.
