... return home. We were thrilled to say the least. We stayed at the Alpine Lodge in Mt. Shasta, solid establishment and certainly one of the most well priced hotels in town. This has been a nice relaxing place to zero and catch up on all the blogs entries that need attention. Thanks Mt. ...

... Mt. Shasta including a full blown tour of what's-what and price inquiries at all the promising hotels. We ended up staying at the Alpine Lodge, one if the more hiker priced and quality establishments in town. By the time we checked in and set our bags down it was only 6:30 pm. Today was the only day there were no clouds over Mount Shasta, so it worked out perfect for us to hike on the mountain today. I had planned a trip to a sacred meadow called Squaw Meadow or also known as South Gate Meadow.

We drove up to Mount Shasta all the way until the end of the road. I wasn't sure which trailhead to go to. We started going up a trail for a ways, and it just kept ...

    Busy Day

... coming off very well. I have gotten a few weird looks from people who don’t have any idea why my arm is red. Luckily, enough dye has come off, to make it look like I just have a really bad sunburn on my arm. After dinner, I threw the Frisbee around again with Josh, who happens to go to Lewis & Clark. Once we came back to the motel, I did my reading for the night, and reviewed what we learned ...
