... arrived in Nashville, and drove straight to the Parthenon, which is an exact replica of the actual Parthenon in Athens. It was rainy and miserable but it still gave us something cool to look at. We took some touristy shots and headed back to the car to find somewhere to eat. ... but not within 4 miles of the car.

There were no detours today but today was probably the worst hiking day due to all the roads and my knee and foot hurting. The end of the trail, 2 miles out from the car and 2 miles back, was well worth the trip. The end may even be a good starting point to camp at and start off from on our next pass thru. I believe we ...

... did not exist. We got to camp around 5:30 PM and did not have time for a camp fire. My spoon had broken the night before, thanks Mitch, so I had to borrow one from Ryan. The three of us fit into the the three man tent nicely and without any major issues.
