    ... it wasn’t open when we were there, so we killed a little time at the park. Turns out, it was worth the wait. Zaharakos was opened in 1900 by three Greek brothers. It was reopened and refinished to its former glory in 2009. Zaharakos features unique architecture and several antique soda fountains.     ... cabin from the 1800's and put it out on the the property. It's one big room with a loft and housed 17 people at one time!
    I didn't care for most of his paintings as they were rather dark, however that was the way paints were in his time. Some of his work (including portraits) are VERY beautiful.
    The fox came back again this evening (as he usually does at about 5:30 or so) and this time I got him on film (so to speak).

    This morning we went to 'The View' restaurant with Bill and Jeni and their daughter Suzi and her husband Don. OMG good food and great bloody mary's! Such a fun group. Lots of laughter at our table.
    After brunch we went out to the view point and took pictures with the 'stoner' statue. (A statue of a couple with their arms around each other looking out at the lake.)

    This morning Jeni took me into Nashville. It's an adorable little artists colony. We browsed around and found some really cute things for the Midwest room. Shipping them cost a fortune, but they are on their way!
