We woke up this morning to find a blanket of snow over everything outside. So we had some breakfast and went outside in the snow, we even got to walk on the frozen river. Then we got ready to drive to Beaver Meadows Ranch. It was about an hours drive and we saw a lot of mountains along the way. We we got outside and it was FREEZING! We want to get as far north as we can so we have a short trip the next day and we can get home at a good time on Sat.
... There was a beautiful juvenile Snow leopard on stage that caught our attention. We all stopped in our tracks and decided to stay and watch the show. The cats were incredible and we were able to walk right up to the front row. I love when you accidentally happen on to something really cool.

We visited the Science & History museum and saw an amazing planetarium show about super-volcanoes (much bigger than the ones in Hawaii) and then a really beautiful Imax 3D film about the flight of the Monarch butterflies and I can never resist reaching out ...
