    ... destination, it was only one more block up and at last we reached Hollywood Boulevard. and walked our bikes along the Hall of Fame, with all those stars in the pavement and names we've never heard of, apart from a few of the famous we did. We stopped and locked our bikes at this point, to stretch our legs properly with the amount of hills we had encountered along our mammoth mission.     ... starts off very gently with a lovely little coast around the areas where the Apatosaurus is grazing by the side of the river, the Stegosaurus (always my favourite) is swishing his tail gently and some baby dinos are playing in their nest. Then it all goes wrong and there are busted fences, flashing lights and alarms sounding... The electricity has failed. Uh oh! Someone really should have shouted at us to remain as still as possible with that T-Rex ...

    ... lots of seats in Premium and Business. Had a couple of expensive drinks and were finally given our boarding passes 5D & 5F - nice! Got on board QF16 and greeted by Lucas our CSM and Steve who was working our part of the cabin. Took off around 45 minutes late at 0030 - settled in with supper and a nightcap before falling asleep!

    Finally, Lufthansa loomed ahead. We made it with time to spare. Now it's time to chow down before boarding. Lufthansa has a very nice club featuring a buffet, drinks, and most importantly, restrooms. The buffet line was our first stop. Pretty darn good with ever changing food choices.

    A good option for general WiFi access is to plan to bring one laptop computer or tablet per family.

    We will likely stop in Heathrow Airport before transferring to our hotel to seek a phone store to purchase SIM cards for the United Kingdom. Please check with your carrier that your device can be unlocked to have the SIM card changed out for the trip. Plan to spent ...
