... bite to eat. Tasted amazing! We then had to quickly hurry back to the car to head back to the airport. Luckily we made it in time! After we said our goodbyes to Rick and Liz, we headed in to check in. At check in, we were asked if we wanted to volunteer our seats as they overbooked the flight, they explained we would be put up in a hotel for the night. We debated it and didn't really understand what she was on about so said no. As we made our way through the airport, we ...

... is pretty easy to find. Our hostel was right on the Walk of Fame and 2 minutes from the Chinese Theatre where a lot of the premieres happen. We had to pay $20 a night to park again.

We had a 4 bed dorm, and were sharing with 2 guys that worked in the hostel. One was a 37-year-old dude not cut out for sharing rooms (he woke up at the tiniest noise), and the other was a guy that worked 2 jobs, finishing one at 2am and starting the next at 7am. One ...

To quote Ferris "if you have the means I highly recommend it". 7am arrival & we were almost the first ones at the park. Mini Buffet brekky in the VIP lounge croissants, smoked salmon, cookies & all sorts of things. Backlot tour - glam bus, chilled water & were able to make a few stops. Walked inside the set of Parenthood, walked around Bates motel, a three level props warehouse & so much more. Our tour guide knew heaps of stories & planned most of our ...

... Internet today (next door). Was great, and fast, but they closed at 5pm. Back to the mall to upload tonight, and check messages! After free drinks tonight, it was a trip to Sprout's Farmers Market (again, just across the road) for salads for dinner. I had a great time and added chocolate coated cranberries, raw almonds and goji berry trail mix to my planned purchase! Oh, and cutlery. Made from corn, not petroleum, as the box ...

    Business class all the way!

    MONDAY - NZ
After breakfast I made a few phone calls, sorted my luggage and left it with M, then went into the village for lunch and to buy some US$ at the bank. Came back to collect my luggage, said goodbye to M, and headed to the airport in the shuttle taxi. Checked in early to be able to spend time relaxing in the Koru Lounge before my flight.

Flight in business class was enjoyable, good food and wine but more important, a good ...
