We encountered some very heavy rain between Gaylord and Mt. Pleasant (about 100 miles) . . . often turning on our emergency flashers with the wipers on high, slowing considerably.

The traffic at the exit was very busy and stopped up. There was a Costco located right at the exit (we could only see the back of it). We dismissed it as a busy shopping Friday!
