... Angela proceeded to pour the entire contents of the communal sugar container into Steve's iced latte and over the wooden floors of the hip organic cafe. As we cycled through SB centre, the soft late afternoon sunlight perfectly illuminated the Spanish colonial architecture. ... returned to the port, found our car and drove to San Luis Obispo, a two hour drive away. The journey was a breeze for Nathan compared to LA, driving a 100 miles straight down the 101 freeway. Its nice to have our own bathroom ...

We spent one afternoon checking out the shops & historical buildings on State Street. It was also Mothers Day, so everywhere we went was very, ...

After a strong MacDonalds coffee we headed up the coast to Santa Barbara, what a beautiful place. We caught the electric train and went to the beach. Had a walk on the pier, and walked through the town, so pretty. After lunch we got back on the road and headed north. We ended up driving up a windy road to find a camping spot. We saw some beautiful big redwoods in the forest, but decided to stop and camp close to the beach area.
